This is an English translation of the original Spanish document, provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.

Apoda measures how artificial intelligence assistants talk about businesses. To do that it stores data about businesses, not about people. The little personal data it does handle is described below, one item at a time, without generalities.

Who is responsible for this data

Apoda LLC. For any matter related to this policy, including requesting a copy or the deletion of your data, write to ricardo@apodahq.com.

What data is collected and why

If you request the free diagnostic

The form asks for three things: your email, your website's address and your city. The email is used to send you the diagnostic; the website and the city, to run the queries it's made of.

Along with that, we store the country the request came from — inferred by the network, not asked — the page you came from, that page's language — Spanish or English, which decides the language the queries are run in and the email is written in — and the date. The IP address is not stored: an irreversible code derived from it is stored instead, which is used to count how many requests arrive per day and doesn't allow the original IP to be recovered.

If you sign in to the measurement dashboard

Access is with your Google account. Apoda receives from Google only that account's email address, and uses it for one thing only: deciding which measurement you're allowed to see. It doesn't receive or store your password, and it doesn't access your email, your files or your calendar.

If you just browse the site

The site uses Google Analytics to know which pages are read. That tool sets Google's own cookies and records browsing data in aggregate form.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or rent personal data to anyone.
  • We don't use your data to train artificial intelligence models.
  • We don't send marketing emails to anyone who didn't ask for them.
  • We don't publish a client's data in any public example. The measurements that appear on this site are about our own business.

Who it's shared with

Apoda relies on providers that process data on its behalf. Each one receives only what it needs for its function:

  • Netlify — hosting of the site and storage of diagnostic requests.
  • Fly.io — hosting of the measurement dashboard.
  • Turso — the measurement database.
  • Google — identity verification when signing in to the dashboard, site analytics, and one of the models queried when measuring.
  • OpenAI and Anthropic — models queried when measuring and when analyzing the answers.
  • Resend — sending the emails with the diagnostic.

The queries Apoda sends to the models don't include your email or your personal data: they're questions about a category or a business, of the kind anyone would type.

How long it's kept

Diagnostic requests are kept for as long as the business relationship, or interest in it, exists. Business measurements are kept indefinitely, because their value lies precisely in the historical series — but those measurements are about businesses, not people.

You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time by writing to ricardo@apodahq.com. It's done without asking for explanations.

Your rights

You can request access to the data Apoda holds about you, its correction, its deletion, or a copy in a readable format. The channel is the same: ricardo@apodahq.com. We reply within a reasonable time and at no cost.

Changes to this policy

If it changes, the date at the top changes too. If the change is relevant to existing clients, they're notified by email.
